Trusting A Nigga

I've been working at the Las Vegas airport for the last few months. It's a project where they are installing bollards onto the sidewalk. The bollards are cylindrical structures which are lined up along the road to prevent vehicles from encroaching on the sidewalk. They placed them along "The Strip" recently and decided it was a good idea to place at airport. Anyways that's not the point of this. So the work is  in front of the terminal but we have to park down the hill in a closed off area near the airport employee parking lot. So I was sitting in my car writing up my report (or just getting some AC, either way) and a flight attendant (I think) walked by (I see a lot of people dressed up walking by and I think they're flight attendants and pilots, and they always have luggage so I'm pretty sure that's what they are). She was a young attractive white lady and she walked past my car toward the terminal. A little later I see her come back toward my car and she comes to my window. I roll it down and she asked if I was going to be sitting in my car for a while. I said no since I was actually about to head back to the work area (which I really was). She said she didn't feel like dragging her bag all the way back to her car (she must've forgot something) and she was going to ask if I could watch her bag. I'm sure I could have waited for her since I really wasn't in a rush, but I said no and headed toward the work area after she left. It just struck me as odd that she would trust a stranger (a black one no less, since whites are considered naturally racist these days). Maybe I looked "official" with my safety vest on and my company's decal magnet on the side of my car so I could be trusted. Well, lady, I could easily have said yes and like any weirdo might go thru your stuff and take what I want. Don't trust me. You don't know how creepy I might be. Just go on by and do what you gotta do. Don't tempt a nigga.

This isn't the first time a young white female trusted me with their stuff. In South Carolina I rode with a new employee in a work truck and she had gotten out to do something while I stayed in the truck. I don't remember what it was for exactly but I just remember she left her purse in the truck right next to me. I guess she trusted me. She didn't know how niggerly I can be. Of course I didn't touch it but could easily have gone thru it. Now of course it would be idiotic and wrong to do so, and they would know who took their stuff. Plus the guilt of it all. Anyways that's it. Don't trust strangers. I sure don't.

  1. I think us ladies are naturally more trusting while men are usually more cautious and suspicious. Hence why we need them to protect us from the dangers we are blind to.
